Have you ever had an answer to a question that hasn't been asked? Well I have the answer and the question naturally followed. So which do you want first? I am going to assume you said question. The question is, how is it that archeologists always uncover tools and bowls when they excavate a city/town/homestead?  Let's not leave out coins and buttons. Well, the answer is complicated but simple at the same time. First, you have to ask yourself, what is it about a workshop that makes you drag every tool you own out into the yard to carve or cut with? I'll tell you what it is for my kids, it's because they have every workable surface covered with something or another inside the shop. Ok I'm saying it. Because it's too important not to. What is happening in Christianity? More and more of our outspoken leaders or influencers who were once "faces" of the faith are falling away. And at the same time they are being very vocal and bold about it. Shockingly they still want to influence others (for what purpose?)as they announce that they are leaving the faith. I'll state my conclusion, then I'll state some rebuttals to statements I've read by some of them. Firstly, I never judge people outside of my faith. Even if they hate religion or Christianity. That is not my place and I have many friends who disagree with my religion and that is 100% fine with me. However, when it comes to people within my faith, there must be a measure of loyalty and friendship and accountability to each other and the Word of God. The one option that matters to me, and it will ultimately matter to all of man kind, is what does God think of me. Does he see Jesus in me. Am I in Christ? I must decrease and He must increase. Back to my original reason for writing. Toxic masculinity is a construct meant to make men shrink in their role as leaders and second guess their responsibility to be the spiritual head of the home. October 1, 1999 I married the most amazing girl I have ever meet. Outside of my salvation that was and has been the best decision of my life. We have had tough times where money was tight or nonexistent,but they have always been bearable because she was by my side. She is creative and adventurous with a spirit that always strives for organization. She is at home on our homestead in a way that makes me want to never leave her side and makes me want to strive for greatness. Not for greatness as the rest of the masses see greatness, but in the way that makes me want to fulfill my wildest dreams. I've been reading in Peter lately. There is little comparison to reading a scripture passage in its entirety. The context is easier understood that way. These verses are however lifted out of the passage as I read them this morning. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
