How stupid do they think we are?

Apparently pretty stupid. Just heard a commercial that tried to "clear up" the misinformation of other chicken sales and marketing.
Chicken seller one has birds that have been raised without antibiotics and they use this fact as part of their sales pitch.
Chicken seller two is a large chicken producer and they are the ones making the commercial. They are informing the unsuspecting public that by federal law you can't sell chicken that has residual antibiotics present in the meat. They tell you that the other seller is using tricky and untrue information to get you to buy their more expensive product.
The thing that gets me is that seller two wants you to think there is no difference between no antibiotic used and no antibiotic traces left in the birds system.
Do you want something that has never had poison in it or something that no longer has traces of poison?
I understand that there are times where antibiotics are necessary to keep some diseases from spreading but really if you're having to make commercials to defend your use of meds on your chickens maybe you should adopt and espouse better housing practices. I'm no chicken whisper or master of chicken raising. I'm the last one to give advice on how you should be doing the particulars of bird husbandry, but surely there are those that have input in this realm. Joel Saladin for one, has some unique chicken raising practices that have proved to be productive and profitable. Rabbit hole thoroughly perused.
