The Archeological Conundrum

Have you ever had an answer to a question that hasn't been asked? Well I have the answer and the question naturally followed. So which do you want first? I am going to assume you said question. The question is, how is it that archeologists always uncover tools and bowls when they excavate a city/town/homestead?  Let's not leave out coins and buttons. Well, the answer is complicated but simple at the same time. First, you have to ask yourself, what is it about a workshop that makes you drag every tool you own out into the yard to carve or cut with? I'll tell you what it is for my kids, it's because they have every workable surface covered with something or another inside the shop.
